eCreditAttorney has a rock-bottom rating with the Better Business Bureau: F. According to the BBB, the provider has failed to respond to numerous customer complaints in the past three years. Customers describe getting no response from anyone at the company, even after multiple emails and phone calls, and worse - no progress on improving their credit reports after months of paying fees. Why would anyone entrust their credit repair to a company that can't even do a minimal job of keeping their customers - and the BBB - satisfied? You'll have a more positive experience with another service.
Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), credit bureaus have 30 to 45 days to investigate a disputed claim. If they can’t verify it within that time, they must remove the entry. For example, if you file a dispute with a credit bureau over a late payment and your creditor can’t verify the information, the bureau must remove that late payment from your credit report. For payments less than 90 days late, you can request a goodwill adjustment from your creditor and set up payments to prevent further damage to your credit history.

"I started CreditRepair.com a couple of months ago and since then my credit score has gone up. I love this service and how they take off the negative items on my report. I would recommend this service if you are looking to repair your credit and get the bad things off your report!! When I get finished with mine my boyfriend is going to sign up and we are going to work on repairing his and taking off any negatives he may have. He too is excited to get his started after seeing the results from mine!!"

"CreditRepair.com is an exceptionally wonderful company for people with the desire to improve their credit. There are people who will work with you to answer any questions you may have and will work with you in your journey to improve your credit. Most importantly, they will intervene on your behalf to remove negative information from your credit report."
"My experience with CreditRepair.com is the best choice ever, I’m happy I am seeing good results on my credit report. I’m so happy debts are being removed from my credit. My score is rising daily, an I am receiving letters from the creditors that confirm the removals, I can’t believe it. All I had to do was become a member with CreditRepair.com, and let them handle everything. Customer service is awesome! Someone is always available to you, they contact me according to any alert to my credit, and I will recommend any one to join CreditRepair.com. The best results, thanks!"
"I tried buying a new car a few months ago but I could barely get approved for a loan and if I did get approved the interest rate was above 20%. I decided to give CreditRepair.com a few months to work on my credit. I re-visited the dealerships this week and thanks to CreditRepair.com my score drastically improved and I was able to qualify for a very reasonable rate. Thank you CreditRepair.com, you literally improved my way of life."
"I was very skeptical when we first started with CreditRepair.com and didn’t think they could do too much to help me but we’ve been with them for 2 years now and have seen over a 200 point improvement. For the first time ever I was able to get a loan with the lowest interest rate and when they told me that I asked if they had the right person. I work 60+ hour workweeks and so for me, working with CreditRepair.com was exactly what I needed. I don’t have time to work on my credit by myself but when I put it in their hands, they took care of everything for me and made it so simple for me with little to no effort on my part. I would recommend CreditRepair.com to anyone I know that needs help with their credit. It has been an amazing experience for me and my wife."

Credit bureaus must send a notice of any corrections made to your report. Sometimes, a deleted dispute can reappear on your credit reports if the lender proves its claim is valid. If you find a derogatory mark reinserted on your credit reports, you can dispute it again. If you believe a credit reporting agency or one of your creditors has violated the FCRA, you should submit a consumer complaint to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC).
They lie about their rating on the BBB they have an F. They charge an initiation fee, but its against the Credit Repair Organization Act to charge in advanced for work not yet done. They wont start your work until you pay this fee, so there is no way of avoiding paying ahead for services not yet rendered. They rush through my contract, I had no idea about an ending balance. They will charge a months fee at the end to cancel services. Beware of this company, for the services they do, the cost is not worth it. If you ask them to remove your payment method they will say no and offer no guarantee of no future charges. The customer service will curse at you on the phone, get irate, hang up, if you ask for a refund. I wish I did more research before contacting this this company. I wish I could get my money back.
The best credit repair service includes credit education tools that help you maintain your improved credit once it’s repaired. Credit coaching helps you better understand how different decisions affect your creditworthiness. Many credit restoration companies provide credit score simulators to see how specific actions are likely to affect your credit score. Financial education tools help you better manage your future credit profile after your reports are cleaned up and your score is improved.

While we did find quite a few customer reviews that said their credit scores improved reliably over time using the Credit Repair service, it's hard to recommend a business that has an "F" grade at the BBB because they didn't take the time to prove that their advertised claims were legitimate. If those facts are accurate, it should be a simple process to report them and clear up the concern at the BBB. If that happens in the future, Credit Repair will probably move up in the rankings among the services we reviewed; until then, we suggest you look at some of the higher-rated companies for your credit history improvement plan.
If the company's credit repair specialists identify errors on your credit reports, they dispute those errors on your behalf. A credit repair company handles everything from drafting letters to managing correspondence with credit reporting agencies, creditors and debt collectors. You might need to supply documentation to support disputes. Some credit repair companies also offer credit counseling and debt management to help clients improve and maintain credit standing.

Our proven process can be summarized into three steps. First, we work with our members to identify what items on their credit are unfair, inaccurate, or unsubstantiated. Then, we work with their creditors and the credit bureaus to verify these items. Finally, as we work through each item we identified earlier, we help our members manage their credit wisely.

From there, Credit Repair's experts work with credit companies to implement your plan, and then they verify with the credit bureaus to make sure that those changes actually take effect. You can track your progress through your personal online dashboard and a mobile app, where you'll also see your score tracker and analysis of the changes to your credit profile.
Our one-of-a-kind credit repair business program is considered the simplest and most powerfully effective way to help you manage your startup or established credit repair business. TurboDispute delivers the best credit repair business platform with tools such as automated dispute letters, client and affiliate portal, client invoicing system, activity feed, team management and fully customizable platform that you can adjust to your specific needs.
All plans include 1-on-1 consultations with a certified FICO professional, unlimited disputes, letters to creditors, and pulling your credit report. You should expect it to take up to 60 days to receive your credit report - which also means that you may not see any changes to your credit history for the first two months that you're a client. Keep that in mind as you decide whether you want to be a per-month or pay-as-you-go customer
There are a lot of reasons that your credit may be in rough shape. Most are related to your spending habits. And, if you missed a few payments or your debt levels are too high—think over 30% of your total available credit limits—disputing errors won’t help you. You’ll have to make some changes to improve your credit scores instead. And you may have to wait a bit to see an uptick.

You'll probably have a limited amount of money to put toward credit repair each month. So, you'll have to prioritize where you spend your money. Focus first on accounts that are in danger of becoming past due. Get as many of these accounts current as possible, preferably all of them. Then, work on bringing down your credit card balances. Third are those accounts that have already been charged-off or sent to a collection agency.
